General Information
The
Seychelles Archipelago lies at a latitude of 4 degrees in the south
of the Equator at about a thousand miles to the East of Africa.
The sailing area extends from Mahé island , towards Praslin and
La Digue , as far as the North of Bird Island and Denis.
Winds and sailing conditions.
The islands benefit by the seasonal and even winds thanks
to their protection against the low pressure area.
Winds: from May to October from South-East , from November
to April from North-West 2-5 beaufour force.
Pay attention to the interior of the barrier reef .
The recommended period: after the rainy season that finishes in February.
